InterFuse Intensive Treatment LINES is the one exception to this rule due to the injectable-grade hyaluronic acid contained in the product and is always applied first. This product was clinically tested in patients who used it twice a day. We recommend patients consult with their healthcare professional to determine optimal use based on their specific skincare needs.

Dispense one pump onto fingertips. Dot serum on the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Gently spread product from the center, massaging thoroughly until absorbed. Apply any remaining product to the neck. Blend in any areas where serum is visible, including the hairline and eyebrows. Allow serum to dry completely before applying additional products. Use twice daily for best results.

We believe daily application of a topical antioxidant, sunscreen, and a nightly retinoid are essential for any effective skincare regimen. Mystro Active Balance Serum was designed to achieve visible improvement in skin quality by supporting skin’s natural ability to adapt to stress and maintain balance. Global skin quality was measured using combined visible attributes of redness, texture, dullness, pore size, and uneven pigmentation from baseline.

Although Alto Defense Serum, Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum, Mystro Active Balance Serum, and Even Tone Correcting Serum all show benefits for visible redness, each product contains different key technologies designed for different primary concerns.
We consider the use of an antioxidant like Alto Defense Serum and Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum foundational to healthy-looking skin. Alto Defense Serum was designed to protect skin against the visible effects of skin aging due to external free radicals. Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum is designed to protect against free radicals and address the visible effects of intrinsic aging (thinning, dry skin, dullness, redness) in addition to the visible effects of extrinsic aging (hyperpigmentation, lines and wrinkles, and rough texture).
Mystro Active Balance Serum is designed to address imbalance in the skin (visible redness, rough skin texture, dullness, larger-looking pores, and/or uneven pigmentation) that contribute to the look of overall skin quality. Patients may have visible signs of imbalance even when using foundational products like antioxidants.
Even Tone Correcting Serum is designed to comprehensively address the appearance of hyperpigmentation, which manifests as brown patches often accompanied by yellowing and redness of the skin.

Clinical studies have not been performed evaluating this product post-procedurally. Because sensitivities and skin conditions vary from individual to individual, we recommend patients consult with a healthcare professional to determine use post-procedurally, as the purpose and strength of procedures differ widely.

We did not specifically test Mystro Active Balance Serum in conjunction with other products other than those that were part of the skincare regimen included in the clinical study. Study products included a gentle cleanser (AM/PM), Hydration Boosting Cream (AM/PM), and sunbetter SHEER SPF 56 Sunscreen Stick (AM).
Mystro Active Balance Serum was designed to be incorporated into a daily regimen including foundational products such as an antioxidant and a retinoid. We recommend layering from thinnest to thickest and allowing products to dry in between for best results. We also have the skincare regimen card as a reference for order of application.
